A friend’s wife came to him to share that she was pregnant, and will be getting an abortion. She cited her career, a pediatrician, as the reason. My friend, also a pediatrician, was taken back, and asked if they could talk about it. A week later she came to him and said, it was done. A year later she files for divorce from him.

Fasts forward. My friend, has a child with a woman, and marries her. She cheats on him. But not before telling him she hates him, and plans to divorce him. My buddy later finds he paid for two European vacations for his wife and her lover. A week ago he sat in on a 1 hour free counseling from a divorce lawyer.

I feel so sorry this guy. He lives in California, I do not. Is there place he can go to learn the whole picture the Family Court experience?
