I have a concern regarding some of the data that's presented in the image link. First, a lot of the data is old. In some cases more than twenty years. Others as much as 30. The most recent study is from 2007. The oldest is from 1975. While this is good information and should be accounted for, it doesn't show what the modern trends are. More recent data would be a good addition to this piece.

Without the context of the study I would have probably dismissed the image itself. So thank you for that. It provides much needed context for why these studies were selected. I would really like to see more recent data or a comparison between studies or reports put out by the same group regarding this.

It make sense to me that the rate is so similar. I mean, if we truly believe women are as equally smart and capable as men (but not superior to men) we have to accept that an equal proportion of women are going to be violent. For every Albert Einstein there's a Jack the Ripper, and for every Marie Curie there is a Moira Hindley. It's the nature of humanity.
