When the media “reports” that men are “afraid” of commitment, it’s a continuation of a 50 year trend to mock and disparage men for their reproductive choices.

Men aren’t “afraid” of commitment. When men walk away from “commitment” and marriage, they are making intelligent choices. Fear doesn’t enter into men’s minds when they walk away from women in our “modern” culture.

I like this guy already, I've been preaching this for awhile now, when I am dating a woman I genuinely trust and know won't fuck me over then I will consider either marriage or raising a family.

Unfortunately, thanks to feminism, I now have to act as part detective and part psychologist before I even consider asking a girl out. Even with basic stuff like, does she have a criminal background? Can she support herself? Is she a hard left lunatic that's going to start shrieking the moment Trump comes on television or somebody says they're Conservative?

This is all shit men with any sense have to take into account now, I suspect part of the reason that these articles about men are so fucking dumb is not just because they're written by feminists they're generally written by the exact sorts of people men will go out of their way to avoid so they are coming at the topic from an incredibly skewed angle.

If you are a random low grade Thot who swipes through several guys on Tinder, treats men like shit, blames them for everything and rages at anybody who isn't a Communist then you are not going to be getting a long term boyfriend.

There was once a time when marriage was an honorable institution. It was not that long ago.
Marriage was a balanced set of cultural traditions and values in which men and women supported each other, assumed gendered roles that encouraged them to support each other, and, provided a means for men and women to enhance their lives through the synergy of mutual care, respect, responsibility and knowledge for and about each other.
Those days are long gone.
Marriage is no longer an honorable institution. It is simply a device of the neo-Marxist state to exploit men.
Do you think that is an exaggeration?

The problem today is that marriage is a perhaps permanent commitment by the man, but the woman has made no commitment at all. And as the marriage rate continues to plummet, just living with a woman is becoming the same commitment by the man.

Why is it that the left likes to think everyone is afraid of things they don't like or want anything to do with? There are plenty of reasons, other than being a scared of something, that people avoid things.

People who propose marriage are not afraid of commitment, people who initiate divorce are afraid of commitment.

You know I've never seen a feminist scream "toxic masculinity" over these attempts to shame men in to acting a certain way (that benefits women) by implying any who don't are cowards.

Real men love commitment (to women). Real men stand up for women. Real men aren't afraid of quotas being used to hold them back. Etc.
