This has always seemed odd to me; although many people claim that feminism is about gender equality, quite often this is not the case. It intrinsically focuses on the advocacy of the rights of 50% of the population.

I think a more egalitarian approach would be far more accessible to the general population (certainly far more attractive to men) and overall would probably be a good step towards true equality, fueled by education.
