Why do different manosphere groups attack each other?

They're very different groups with different goals. The MRM is about gender equality issues. TRP is about life advice and tips on how to get laid as much as possible.

The two groups have almost nothing in common, but both get labeled as "men's groups" (which makes as much sense as listing feminists and a group of anti-abortion women as "women's groups").

When the two are mixed up, they're quick to point out they're nothing like each other, often in a derogatory way. "We're not like those woman-bashing TRP jerks who think that getting laid is all that matters in life!" "We're not like those wimpy beta MRAs who think complaining about equality is more fun than being with a woman!"

Both groups need to recognize that these are very different groups, have nothing to do with each other, don't speak for each other... and stop caring when ignorant people aren't aware that not every group made up of men has the same ideals and goals.

Can we just leave other alone? There's no need to for MRAs to attack TRPs and vice versa. If TRP want to believe that women have inherent qualities that they can and will exploit then let them do it. As long as no criminal acts come out of it who cares? Isn't that what MRAs are fighting for? For people to have the freedom to choose how they live?

There's no need for TRP to attack MRAs because all MRAs want is for legislative, educational and policy equality for men with women. No special treatments under law (Duluth, VAWA, Title IX etc). Beyond that, how men live their lives whether they want to be MGTOW or PUA or TRP doesn't matter.

Dialogue, evidence and discussion are not pussy or weak, they are a means to an end. To convince the general population that men are worthy of consideration for equality. That takes time and evidence, lots of evidence. Including constant reminders how toxic feminism is.

Because "manosphere" is a completely artificial construct. The idea that just because there are men interested in things that affect men means they can be gathered into a monolithic entity is ridiculously reductive. Of course, some people enjoy using ridiculously reductive thinking because it's easier to build and knock down straw men based on that thinking.

I'm not now, nor will I ever likely be, a "red pill" person. I know that, to an extent, some of their advice actually does work even when counterintuitive in application, but they engage in exactly that sort of super-reductive thinking I mentioned above - The whole "Women are x, they think y, therefore z" thing is silly and (imo) a product of echo chamber thinking and lack of counter-examples, of "breaking the jerk". I can't endorse that and I don't want to be associated with that.

This is not to say that I think red pillers are bad or evil or hateful or anything else like that, I expect they're people trying to make sense of the fucked up world we live in just like anyone else, but they stray too often into the sort of magical thinking that I cannot abide in religious true believers.

Modern society has created TRP as a reaction to the dating world. TRP's belligerence will only grow and is one of the most potent forces for showing people that it shit isn't right. It's very existence is ultimately going to force wider acknowledgment of MRA issues as the anger reaches the right thresholds.

Karen Straughan mentions this in the video she made shortly after they got kicked out of the expo (I think). She said something to the effect that PUAs shouldn't knock MRAs because if a PUA ever winds up facing a rape or assault allegation, it will be an MRA that gives a shit about him and helps him to get a fair shake; not another PUA.

I don't get why anyone in their position would have any reason to throw shade. Its probably a matter of not really understanding what MRAs are about and the forced association that others have mentioned.

The answer to reducing tension between the groups is simple. GTFO TRP and go back to your shithole. We know you exist and if we want to bath in shit we will visit.
