It's a far less discussed part of men's rights, but it definitely needs to be discussed somewhere. To discuss it in anywhere related to trans rights would get you chased out and treated like a bigot. I might not get a better response here, albiet for different reasons, but it's worth a try.

Trans rights have progressed a lot in the past few years, people here obviously have differing opinions on the matter, and I'm not here to talk about that. To anyone who wants to see it, the issue is obvious.

Trans activism has been MtF-centric for a long time now. Every time new media comes out, it's either primarily or exclusively about trans women. To the majority, they don't care, they got what they wanted. To them, that's all there is to trans people that matters. To anyone who speaks out against this, they get hatred and ridicule, and usually are pushed out of their community. This is how it has been for a very long time now, and with the recent rise of feminists and their rhetorics, this has only gotten worse.

It's not just the media, either. Even things such as research for treatments has been effected by this. Surgeries for trans women are far more advanced and well researched than those for trans men.

Is there any way this can ever be fixed? Or are trans men doomed to lurk in the background and watch the progress from afar?
