So, I’m not a man nor have I ever been sexually assaulted or had before so I’m going to try my best to not offend anyone and be objective because I get that this is a very sensitive topic.

The YouTuber sarcastic chorus did a pretty good video on the double standards of sexual harassment in media. I’ll leave his link. He says that since men are always thought of as horny, people think they can’t be sexually assaulted because they must have wanted it.

So, if women are the ones who are down bad, it’s considered a reversal of this stereotype because it changes the power imbalance. But it doesn’t change anything else.

I think another reason is that men are always thought of as stronger than women. So, if women do harass them, people think men can easily defend themselves against it. When women are just as capable as being strong as men.

When a woman gets harassed by a man: Oh my god! How dare he take advantage of a vulnerable woman like that?! Lock him up immediately!

When a man gets harassed by a woman: Eh, must’ve wanted her to do that to him. And even if he didn’t, he should’ve stopped her.

Seriously, sexual harassment/assault is inexcusable, no matter who is doing it to who.
