Disclaimer: I’ve never made a “I’m leaving” thread before because they’re almost always pointless, annoying, and offer nothing but negativity. However, I just feel this is necessary.

After months of reading threads on here I’ve come to the conclusion that this sub isn’t for me. Although I do think there are definitely real issues being discussed here and they can be very insightful at times. I can’t help but see certain frustrating patterns reoccurring of blaming women for literally everything and extreme right wing ideology. Whereas feminists pretty do the same thing in the other direction. The line between feminist and feminazi has gotten so thin that nobody can tell the difference anymore. And I believe the same thing has happened with MRA’s

I didn’t join this subreddit to join a team. I’ve always been an equalist, a reasonable one though. Not everything can be perfectly equal when you’re dealing with two different biologies. I want to talk about all of the issues on this sub, I just want to do it in an environment that feels less like a support group and more like a movement.

MRA’s and Feminist may have started out with good intentions but both groups have been infected with crazy individuals who are ruining their credibility. That’s why being an equalist is the better choice. Crazy people will be less likely to attach themselves to it because they’re inherently biased and would be easily identifiable.

Echo chambers offer nothing to the mind and are inherently as destructive as safe spaces or any other form of shutting down critical thought. Right now we (as in males and females) should be discussing ideas on how to live together as equals with real substantive and logic based arguments to actually achieve change.
