We really need to normalize women doing the first step and paying for dates.

Way less confusion that way and it would feel safer for women. But that would mean they would have to make efforts.

It's not necessarily OK, but, it is a solid marketing strategy if the intent is to catch the eye (no pun intended) of women who control 75% of US household consumer spending.

The bottom line is this: men make, women take, that's what the law says, that's how society works, and that's what is driving this particular marketing strategy.

These kind of commercials are made specifically to have people talk about them. Stop giving them what they want. Also frankly I can't care less about what happens in fictional videos

You understand this is an ad right? Not real life. She is a literal monster.

The target also for the this particular art is clearly women. So it is a comedic premise mixed with a power fantasy. Women also get a lot of unwanted attention a 30 sec commercial isn't going to spend a long time establishing how much of a creepy the guy is. Is he is a creepy. If doesn't matter no one died. It is a joke
