I believe this community could be a great tool for everyone, weather MRA, anti-MRA, or the curious who are interested in broadening their scope of consideration in regards to the social issues that this sub-reddit was founded upon.

I say this because there seems to be a heavy-handed mod presence on other sub-reddits favoring one ideal that usually results in the censorship of dissenting ideals, resulting in an echo chamber shadow of what once was a good idea.

I'm certain that /r/mensrights could be a different place. Where only off-topic, inflammatory, ad-hominem, and low effort posts would be moderated upon and perhaps not even muted depending on mod availability and severity of the post. Maybe even a sub-reddit where we can ask honest questions in an /r/askreddit way (even if it's bound to a single post) and where both 'sides' are considerate and well-intentioned.

I really found /r/feminism's "assume good faith" rule to be pretty inspiring, although not so well executed. Regardless, we can give even our open-minded friends over there a place to speak to us on this - even if their mods decide we can't have these conversation on their turf.
