Aaand that's the point where you immediately get up and go to wherever you go to file a divorce. That woman is barking insane, and thankfully not quite representative of women.

I'm not saying men aren't often being pushed to the back with regards to reproductive decisions, but that? Just straight-up saying he has no say in the matter, and even being offended and/or angry he would presume to think he did? That's not normal. That's scary.

When it comes time to plan a family, a man is not allowed to say “enough is enough” or “we can’t afford it” or “I’m not sure I can be as good a Father if I spread myself too thin” lest he be labeled an insensitive clod.

Wrong, wrong, wrong. When a man says that, a rational person (man or woman) says, "Those are some understandable limits. Let's talk about this some more and come to a mutually agreeable solution."

Otherwise, one is just married to a rude, self-centered individual. Rude and self-centered is not gender-specific.

After calming down, I decided to say that while I went through a lot of things I shouldn't have had to as a kid after losing my father, I turned out fine. Single parenting is harder, but it's possible.

Violentacres is a really interesting, strange, violent, off track sort of blog. You should read through it, it's actually pretty interesting. The writer actually has opinions and critical thought. (Unlike many bloggers). Not to say that I agree with everything she says, but it is interesting to read. It's also been around a while, I don't think there has been anything new for some time. Right before the last post people were claiming that the blog had been sold and that the last post was not written by the original writer. The writer said that wasn't the case, and I don't think there was much evidence for the suspicions. I think the writer mostly claimed she had said everything she wanted to say.
