As we start collecting more and more evidence of the importance of male role models for kids and specially for boys, is it safe to say that market and social forces will align in such fashion that male school teacher will be a highly respected and economically well compensated career?

The logical thing to me is that this should sooner or later end up happening, however not without opposition of feminist unions and the like, as they will very likely oppose female teachers being paid less than male teachers, even when this will probably be a temporary thing.
