I tried to submit this but you beat me to it. Unfortunately your title explains absolutely nothing and we all know people don't read the articles.

Here's the low down:

Patrick Brown was a Canadian politician on the verge of becoming Premier of Ontario. A couple weeks ago CTV published a story that claims, 1. 10 years ago he hit on an underage girl at a bar then took her back to his place, dropped his pants and said something like, "suck my dick". Then she did. And 2. He flirted with a young staffer, then at a party in his house they were sitting on his bed and he started to kiss her. He stopped when she said stop. For this he was immediately ousted as party leader.

Now Brown is telling his side of the story and "victim" 1 has been forced to acknowledge she was not actually underage at the time. Which means the only remaining complaint is that in his 20s he crudely hit on some girls.

His career and reputation were immediately destroyed by using #metoo as a political hit piece. I hope he sues and wins big time.

There will be repercussions, which is that Doug Ford will be the next premier of Ontario instead of a much more moderate Brown.
