That's all I can really say.

I'm in my late teens living at home with my mom. My parents got divorced ten years ago and as the youngest child I was the focus of my mom's anger that she had towards my father. My father's a bastard, however.

Anyway about three weeks ago my mother had another episode. She hit me, tried to bite me (she's a 55 year old woman, so she didn't do much but if I so much as push back I'm going to jail), but what sent me over the edge is when she said she wanted me gone from her home. She ran with trash bags into my room and started picking up and practically breaking my things. My computer, my Xbox One (which I bought) and my souvenirs from my travels that I earned. I told her if she did not stop that I would call the police. She did not stop, I called the police.

They come over, take note of the situation, and leave. They all thought I was a little ridiculous which irked me. My mother said I did drugs and was stupid and a sociopath (never done illegal drugs, got back to back 4.0 semesters, and love people beyond imagine).

They knew that I was assaulted yet said they couldn't do anything as there was no proof. What fucking got me is how they treated me like the problem and said I should move out and that my mother should evict me.

Now my mother gets a letter in the mail saying that there are women's shelters she can go to if she's suffering from domestic violence.

What.

I was assaulted, it was my stuff being broken, I was the target of emotional abuse for a decade. Yet she's the woman -> she's the victim.

Unbelievable.

I'm not looking for support or anything. I'll deal with it. I'm making plans to go back to Korea for a year. I'm staying with my friends every now and then when I need to. I just need to share another story of this bullshit patriarchy we live in.
