This is kind of a cmv except I’m genuinely inquiring in hopes that some of the answers can successfully combat my beliefs. I’m red pill but there’s so many blue pilled men out there that in order to believe I’m justified in my red-pilledness, I’d necessarily have to believe that I’m smarter and wiser than most men, which I don’t, so that must mean that I’m missing something….

I really don’t understand why a modern man would find himself in a relationship. I guess companionship, but:

  1. Other guys make far better, more relatable, less consequentially judgmental companions.

and

  1. It just seems like a lot of upfront and perpetual work for just having a companion. Like, if a guy, to be your friend, required what a woman required to be your girlfriend, you’d see him as a someone who was using you and you wouldn’t be his friend…yet somehow for women the exception is made…

What do you get that is tangible out of a relationship. For example, women get provision and protection. Both can be quantified, and typically, the importance of an offering can be measured by how much it costs (not merely monetarily) to give. What do you get as a guy? And what does it cost your woman?
