I don't get it. I thought the Red Pill was a forum to discuss ideas that are not mainstream when it comes to sex, romance, relationships, and even politics or culture. I don't view it as association or group I'm a member of, its just a forum I go to. To that end, I don't see why creating a new or more PC Red Pill sub is necessary.

Actually... the whole "pill" metaphor - I'd like to see it dropped.

Call it retarded, but I'd like to see something science-based. Links from livescience.com and the Kinsey institute would be nice. Scientists and psychologists really do study this stuff - we should look at that instead trying to reinvent the wheel based on a pill metaphor and endless comment threads about so-and-so's empirical evidence.

TRP could have gone somewhere had they dropped all the political/religious/conspiracy rhetoric in the beginning. But it's so toxic now that if you called it TRP2 it's still gonna put a bad taste in everybody's mouth.

Well, many of the topics TRP discusses already have normal, sane subreddits. /r/GetMotivated, /r/loseit, and /r/malefashionadvice for betterment. /r/MensRights and that umbrella for male gender issues. /r/relationships, /r/sex, and even (shudder) /r/seduction for dating and romance advice. /r/cringepics for making fun of losers. Pretty much all of TRP is already covered, TRP just adds a healthy dose of crazy and poor moderation.

The crazy is part of TRP.

Part of improving yourself means making a whole lot of mistakes.

TRP is pretty much the only place where dudes have to work out their issues as they debate shit while getting stuff wrong constantly.

TRP is a place where men are able to put the pieces of the puzzle together while they go through the madness that is trying to figure out what the fuck this life is even supposed to be.

The thing that is great about letting people be wrong so often is that sometimes someone comes up with something so radically correct that getting things wrong so often was the only way of seeing what everyone else believed to be right.

This is why anonymity is so wonderful. We can discuss completely fucking terrible ideas with each other and discuss the merit of each approach. We can talk about the fucked up events that we have lived through in our lives, and we need not hold back our feelings on what our experience was, and never be held to someone else's standard on what is acceptable or even normal thought.
