There's certainly a balance. Some people complain so they can justify not doing anything, and some are straight up delusional. Let's just say we don't start at the same line, and some won't ever reach the finish line ever.

Having a good physique will always make people treat you better than if you were out of shape, however. Maybe not enough to get what you actually want, but if it helps with life, I don't think it's pointless. Plus people don't value effort in itself. If it's not guaranteed result, apparently there's no point.

Good for you to get some action in. Regardless of whether you need that to get to what you want, making more bitter people isn't gonna benefit anyone long term, though. Including you.
