Because people won't stop downvoting red pill perspectives, a lot of us are suffering from the 6 minute lag between posts. Many guys have already left.

I'm glad that some of the people here feel this way. It's too bad that it probably won't sway most of the downvoters that have already driven out a lot of TRP members. Not only is it against reddiquitte, it stifles debate and it's incredibly childish.

I'll use this post to state something else about the rules here.

Please don't just downvote opinions you disagree with, question them and have a real debate. The purpose of this subreddit is to better understand the other side, so if you're here to make snarky comments and be rude to other users, you'd better head home.

and this are now going to be banable offenses after a warning. This might turn the sub around, it might not. I think we can all agree this barely qualifies as a debate sub anymore.

This is not TRP or TBP. Anything I feel(yeah my feels, I know) is stifling discussion will now be discussed with at least one other mod(as to avoid any accusation of bias by me)and the appropriate action will be taken. I've taken a lot more lenient approach up until this point, but the sub is going to shit, so change is in order.

TL/DR: If you want to circle-jerk do it in the appropriate subs. This goes for both sides.

I'd be happy to listen to any other suggestions you guys think might help.

There are 15 000 TRP members. There are 4000 TBP members. I am confused as to how TRP are about problems with being downvoted.

It would probably be a good idea to write a mod-flaired reply to comments you delete with with the reason for deletion. Helps keep things transparent.
