This is a big one so hear me out. I’ve met enough men and women to think they are in the top-tier in terms of attractiveness when clearly they are not. Whether it’s a man in his 50s who still thinks he can get pretty women in their 20s, or a woman in her mid 30s who’s close to being overweight, is 1.60m but still wants an attractive 1.80m guy.

And guess what. They’re all struggling. At least the ones I’ve met. Their delusional mindset and not being able to rate their own looks objectively hyper inflates their expectations.

Social media and dating apps has people chasing perfection and better than before. But there’s not enough cake for everyone. Sure, there are the odd exceptions, but you can’t expect to embrace the “body positivity” concept and then wonder why you can’t find a slim partner. Because it’s ridiculous.

People need a reality check, but as soon as you give it to them, they get all hostile, defensive and their ego starts playing. So they spend their life alone, bitter, still thinking they deserve a God from Olympus to come down for them. It won’t happen. Even if it does, it won’t last. This wouldn’t happen if people accepted their self for what they are and found a partner that is on the same level as them.
