In studies by harvard, pedophiles almost always (it was high 90%) and they are the only disorder with numbers notably similar to serial killers as victims (hundreds) and showed the same tendency to move around to avoid detection and capture. They also, like serial killers, showed at best performative remorse and showed no clear signs of being treatable.

Their victims often go on to offend themselves and those that don't still suffer life crippling mental illness many times over. They are like vampires in the sense they just create more.

I say this with a conviction you will find nowhere else in me: shoot them in the fucking head. Sell the right to kill them to the highest bidder and use that to pay for the treatment of their victims. Ammo is not very expensive, and frankly, most people would happily provide it themselves. And many more would pay a solid subscription fee to watch pedophiles get put down.

This ain't about deterence. It's about giving their victims some kind of peace and ensuring they never reoffend.
