The uptick in people staying inside to play video games, watch Netflix, do shit on their phones and computers.
There's a lot more to pacify people that would otherwise go out and socialize without their things.
And since the economy is shit, people are working jobs they don't like and coming home too exhausted to do anything else other than jerk off and watch TV.

Yes being sexless is normal for men unfortunately. It was that way already when I was in college 10+ years ago.
Also this doesn't change all that much later on, just a heads up.

I blame the fact that men aren't learning the skills needed to be an attractive partner. Male only spaces are needed so we can learn those skills sooner than later.
[–]Lunar_Compass 0 points1 point2 points (1 child) | Copy Link
If anything men are learning skills that make them less attractive. Younger guys grew up with idea that they need to be sociopathic egocentric bad boys but now look at the stats.
[–]yuckyuck13 0 points1 point2 points (0 children) | Copy Link
That's why young men need to learn appropriate dating strategies. Teaching men helps women.

It's not men. There are plenty of attractive men out there. Women just aren't interested in sex until it's time to secure marriage.
[–]TheClownPill 1 point2 points3 points (1 child) | Copy Link
.... women are totally interested in sex before they plan to get married, just like most guys are.
[–]gimpgirl555Pick Me 0 points1 point2 points (0 children) | Copy Link
I have only known one other woman in my life who was into sex. Every other woman I have ever known - nope.

The majority of men are raging pussies who can't pull the trigger on escalation.
[–]gimpgirl555Pick Me 0 points1 point2 points (6 children) | Copy Link
Yea poor social skills are a factor no doubt. But you cant blame everything on men. Let's admit that women aren't interested
[–]yuckyuck13 0 points1 point2 points (5 children) | Copy Link
Women aren't interested because men didn't learn how to be attractive to women.
[–]gimpgirl555Pick Me 1 point2 points3 points (4 children) | Copy Link
That's not true. Men aren't less attractive now than in previous generations.
[–]yuckyuck13 0 points1 point2 points (3 children) | Copy Link
Appearance wise no but personality wise and confidence yes.
[–]gimpgirl555Pick Me 2 points3 points4 points (2 children) | Copy Link
But the girls aren't any better. Granted they're not dumpy and bitchy like millennial women were. But they're dorky and awkward. Pot meets kettle.
You can't ask for a smooth Casanova when you''re a Sad Girl.

Dating is unnecessarily difficult.
[–]gimpgirl555Pick Me 1 point2 points3 points (0 children) | Copy Link
That's because dating is nonsense. Serious girls put out, or if they're awkward get someone to set them up. They don't waste time "dating".

Will someone who is not a psychopath please explain to me what is wrong with a man being a virgin? I literally don't care. I never cared. I would never think to ask. I'm not the only one. The anxiety around this only lets me know how to hurt a guy's feelings if he's an asshole. No one can "see" if you had sex. Ugly men you think are getting nothing have sex all the time. I would know, sometimes I'm in their business. So why is this so crippling to these guys? WE CAN'T TELL YOUR N COUNT
Just be discreet! You don't have to volunteer the information if you don't want to. I would tell any woman the same thing!

Nothing is wrong with being a virgin. But I would say that the internalized shame is a problem. I don't even necessarily blame someone for lacking confidence in something they have zero experience with, but it's entirely because of how people view sex and what society defines as successful. I would say men do get messages that lack of experience is bad, and there's a lot of FOMO due to it. Lack of confidence/assuredness + FOMO + internalized shame + not knowing how to define success due to lack of perspective all contributes.
It stems from a lot of similar attitudes about partner count as well, I believe. Of course, I don't actually think anyone's intrinsic value is reflected by how many people they slept with though. Lots of people just don't care that much about sex or value it very much, and they are probably less likely to get around just because of that as well. Doesn't make them any less successful if they are happy and end up living they life they want.

Well, you have the advantage of information now. Imagine 20 years ago when dudes did not have what you have now.
Try to see the good side of it and try to change, try to be in the other side of the spectrum... of course you care (you virgins) because you debate about it.
I will give you this, if 2/3 are really celibate so there is plenty of market for you. Lots of women out there. How about you work it out?
