"ugly" is not an insult. The word is just descriptive. Yet it seems like people, women especially love to beat around the bush when it comes to calling a spade a spade. They'll say stuff like "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" or "there is more than physical appearance that makes someone beautiful" "I just don't call people ugly".
LOL if I wall a chair ugly it's okay, but call someone ugly and all hell breaks loose.
I'm not saying we should be mean-spirited, but let's be honest. We all know when someone is ugly, even they know it.
