Yup. I was in an abusive relationship and I was trapped in it. I had to have her as a roommate because the recession was in full swing and I couldn't afford an apartment on my own and I knew of no one else I could stay with as I was several states away from home. So I had to stick it out and try to get through it. I ended up spending a night in jail after one altercation. I called the cops on her and I ended up in jail because she lied. I was happy to get away from her, though. Couldn't go home for a month so I was borderline homeless. My parents felt bad for me and put me up in a cheap hotel when they found out my alternative was the street.
