hardly a pass as of yet. it might not be at all. to early to tell. she has been arrested and charged. although she has been released on bail that is certainly to be expected. so far as i can tell there has been no PP handed to her.

what additional steps SHOULD have been taken in you opinion? and if you disagree as to it's qualifying as PP material ....what pass do you see that i am missing?

The title is very misleading since she never actually raped the student, but “touched inappropriately” and “made out with.” This still makes me mad that she was released but there definitely needs to be more evidence on what exactly happened

Wait she was charged with assaulting the student, per that article, that’s like the opposite of “getting away with it,” she is hopefully going to face some punishment.

Notice it says 'sexual contact' instead of rape

Notice it says 'accused' instead of claiming as a fact

Notice it says 'teacher' without disclosing whether it was a male or female, when they are talking about a woman.

If it were a man it would be this format: Man Teacher Raped Girl Student

These seem to be the unspoken rules of journalism no matter what source.

I'm sure this is an unpopular opinion, but this shouldn't be a criminal matter imo. A 16 year old boy is old enough to make his own decisions. If the school wants to make a policy against relationships that's fine, she should be fired - but a 16, 17, 18 year old boy is not a child and should have the freedom to engage in sex acts if he chooses.
