they were married for 3 years. He sponsored her immigration status but after he filed the paperwork SHE broke up with him but thanks to said paperwork HE was still legally obligated to cover her expenses for 3 more years while she was in canada.

Here's her tweet talking about how she was divorced by 22(she's 29 right now). Here's an interview she did where it states they "separated" in 2010.

SHE scammed the hell out of the guy even going so far as to cause him great economic distress by getting him to purchase plane tickets multiple times in which she never boarded, moved to an entirely different canadian town instead of the one her "husband" lived in, and forced her "husband" to pay for her for 3 more years just adding insult to injury.

If she was married for 10 years that would mean she got married at 12.

If you want to see how much of a piece of shit she is go no further than this interview where she talks about how "she worked hard for what she has now(this was in 2014)" because as we all know committing fraud, stealing money, and forcing a guy to pay for all your shit after you scammed him is just so so difficult.

No, but if you are going to accuse someone and claim she needs to be deported, you need to bring absolute, undeniable proof or else you're potentially accusing them falsely (and thus open to slander). That video isn't "undeniable proof". Now if you had 2-3 witnesses in her personal circle that are willing to testify under oath, you'd be in a much more solid position.

Edit: My point is that we shouldn't start to publicly accuse people if the cited "proof" is circumstantial at best, and outright insufficient normally. If it were a woman accusing a man of sexual misconduct falsely, we all stand up and start shouting loudly that we need protection against it, yet we find this acceptable? She didn't admit that she did it on purpose. Yes, she made a comment that is questionable but it's not an admission of guilt whatsoever. That's just utter bullshit.

It isn't. She did make comments that are questionable but each and every single person quoting this conversation doesn't take into account the larger context of that stream. We have a singular statement that, while making fun of the marriage, doesn't implicitly say that she married the guy on purpose. While the rabid mob will not see that the same way, it is important to keep in mind the context of the quote in order to make it admissible in court.

But what every single person here seems to forget is that in order to be divorced, they need to justify their reasoning (including her situation that she is from another country) for filing divorce in Canada. So unless you believe that the Canadian system is so shit that she slipped through, she has been going through that in a legal manner and not get deported for it.

Additionally, the problem is that it's not an accusation alone. It calls for deportation directly, rather than an investigation, which implies that the people posting it consider her guilty without due process.

This is like you saying people shouldn't use the phrase "break a leg" as it implies self hurting, which it technically, but you could also stop taking the piss and realize what this is about, she admitted to a crime, we're asking for justice.

You are already pinning a guilty state on a person that made a comment and hasn't been charged with anything. You are pushing a narrative that someone needs to be deported while she hasn't been tried and convicted for what YOU claim she did wrong.

She may very well have done wrong and if that is the case then the legal system of Canada will take care of that. It is not up to you or anyone else other than an official judge to call for her deportation or any other form of punishment. That you do not understand this basic legal protection is exactly the problem here. It's not about what she said, it's about how you choose to forego legal procedure in favour of vigilante justice through societal slandering and accusations.

It doesn't matter who it is to me, it's the process that is being used by you people. It's that you allow this to happen that prompts a response. But clearly, you do not understand the principle of pursuing legal action.

The only "proof" that exists is a short clip taken out of context in which she makes a comment on her situation from years ago, a situation that's then backed up by her actual ex-husband that posted the whole story.

Furthermore, what these collossal morons do not understand is that under Canadian law, one has to apply to a court to get a divorce procedure started. Yes, it is SHOCKING. One has to actually justify their reason to divorce and it's then up to the system to check the background of their marriage and what it means legally.

The fact that they DID go through the official courts in order to get divorced should mean that, unless the Canadian system is total ass, that has been checked in the procedure.

What you're doing, no matter what Alinity does or does not do, is basically slandering someone into a position that you can not decisively prove outside an offhand, out-of-context comment while ignoring the admission of divorcing by her ex-husband. You're part of a group of people who deliberately target a person without providing the required proof that undoubtedly proves 200% that she has done something, in order to get a persons name through the dirt.

I've said many things in my life, some of which weren't serious. I've also been in a position where over time views on a certain subject change. That does not mean that making an offhand, out-of-context comment immediately is admissible as proof. Furthermore, if you believe that this person has been behaving illegally, the ONLY legitimate way to handle this is through the official "snitch line" of the Canadian Government. Mind you, it will require extensive proof that is more convincing than a single comment made off-hand. If you can provide that, and you have proof that shows without shadow of a doubt that she did break the law, by all means report her.

What I am against isn't that people report her. What I am against is that you people are setting up a witchhunt based on a shitty piece of video and a bunch of (deleted) tweets that are not enough to even prove remotely that your allegation is correct. I am against the principle that we start making petitions of random people, who happen to be somewhat known (male AND female), just because something can be construed negatively out-of-context.

None of the people posting have been able to provide any reliable proof of her breaking the law and they all keep quoting that flawed video. Keep in mind that, if you are someone who reports an illegal citizen, the burden on proof is on you as reporter. If you can not prove with multiple good sources that you're right, you're slandering people. Lastly:

Whenever you get married and wish to divorce in Canada, you will be required to apply for such a divorce in court. Unless the Canadian system is totally fucked, you can almost guarantee that her status as immigrated spouse will be listed in any and all court documents, thusly incorporating that factor in the divorce proceedings. So unless the Canadian legal system fails hard, it would've been handled right there already.

If that makes me an SJW, then so be it.

The problem is that you promote the idea of her being involved in a sham marriage, based on very shitty evidence while contradicting a few important facts all the time. One of such that a divorce in Canada requires a court procedure with a judge ruling in favour of it, which includes determining how the relationship derailed.

You are effectively throwing a person in front of the lions without any proof, pushing allegations that you can not prove to be true (as is your responsibility). Even if she is innocent, she already is branded as guilty by you supporting a deportation.

If you have a problem with someone and wish to handle it, use the proper channels. That way, if deemed to be true, a real pussypassdenied can be put into place. But now you are in fact slandering someone based on a comment and speculation. You keep pushing forward with this "investigate" bullshit, while simultaneously condemning her in society. Every supporter here already is biased against her, and if she is found to be innocent then that stain isn't cleaned up any time soon.

It is pathetic to see that you support actions that undermine legal protections and accuse others of breaking the law whilst doing so yourself.

The "rigorous court process" did not happen with this piece of evidence known, and seeing as how that was not a criminal trial/investigation there would be no double jeopardy in place here.

Furthermore, the next picture (https://i.imgur.com/XcU42Rs.png) shows that he admits HE served her the divorce papers on a conscious decision.

While I have no love for what Alinity does in her "profession", I am deadset against the public slandering of a person with zero credible evidence, pushing an accusation on someone while NOT remembering that in order to get divorced, you have to apply to have it handled by the courts (http://www.justice.gc.ca/eng/fl-df/divorce/app.html).

I do not think we should encourage or accept behaviour like this, in which we start witchhunts for something we can not prove without being personal friends of the two. I doubt that any of us is that close to them, so what I am seeing here is a bunch of butthurt incels that wish to slander someone because they think they can.
