Do you even understand the difference between "parasitic way" and being a parasite? Of course the fetus will work in a parasitic way, otherwise it won't survive. We have gut bacterias, which are literal non human foreign bodies, but we need them. They are "parasitic", but not parasites.

Parasite is only detrimental to the host organism, if the organism dies from the parasitic infestation. A fetus doesn't kill the mother. Freaking dense brainlet.

I personally could never have an abortion... but ultimately how are you affected if she has an abortion or not? How does removing an unwanted pregnancy affect your life in anyway shape or form? Yes she should be careful and use birth control because it seems a bit much to be using abortions as a form of contraceptive but is she hurting you in anyway? No she’s not so mind your business.

And pls save the “that’s a baby” no it’s not it’s a foetus until viability. It’s something that without her body would die or not even exist in the first place something that doesn’t have sufficient neurones to understand pain until well after birth. .. As for adoption? Sure let’s just pump more kids into the foster system shall we. Everyone knows all them families want fresh babies and not older “broken” kids. But hey... fuck those kids as long as they get their clean slate babies.

What a stupid comparison but in some cases yes. Depending on if the doctors think they’ll ever wake up, brain damage, quality of life and all that... happens all the time.

Just so you know there’s a huge difference between an actual person. and a lump of cells that has the potential to be a person. Don’t give me your “life starts at conception” bullshit because it doesn’t. I go by science based evidence not by feelings. And there is plenty of evidence to state that life doesn’t begin at conception.

Let’s also not forget the danger it is to a woman to be pregnant. Including child birth, hormone imbalances etc. a machine isn’t going to have mental health issues from supporting a persons life. And then having to deal with all those problems as well as a healing body while trying to keep someone else alive.

Actually im pretty sure life does start at conception. In the moment the genetic code is formed including a blood type, eye color, height, etc. Its the same thing, the comparidon is very accurate, it was my fault for not specifying everything. Lets say its a coma of 9 months and the person will 100% wake up afterwards. Thats a potential life and its the exact same. I dont think that anyone who believes conception to be the starting point for life has ever believed so because of "feelings" its actually the first time ive heard this. And since that is a human being (because it is), no one has the right to kill it just because its convenient or its a burden. The machine has its loses too. It most probably runs on electricity, so its a loss." are you stupid?? How can you compare a machine to a human being?? A machine doesnt feel anything, the mother is really affected by this". You are 100% correct. That doesnt mean she gets to kill it because its convenient. I cant kill the neighbour who plays loud music every night and messes with my sleep just because they are a burden to me. Also they dont have to raise the child if they reaally dont want to. You're right, i dont. I dont "dictate" what a woman can and cant do with her body. That's not her body. Its a completely different body with a completely different genetic code, as i've said before, with an eye color that can very well be different from both parents', a blood type that can be different from both parents. Thats an individual human being and if you dragged them out by their feet and stuck a knife through their belly you get charged with first degree murder, but if you do it inside its called a human right somehow. Abortion is literally the action of killing a baby. Of course its gonna be dead. And the whole adoption thing just doesnt make sense. Yes, i would adopt children. No one will adopt thousands of children alone, that phrase was just ridiculous. And even if I didnt, it still wouldnt matter because my premise is that babies shouldnt be killed off like that and thats it. That was a response packed with "feelings" if you ask me

No it was packed with logic. You said “adoption is a thing” but is it really considering how many children are currently in the system without loving families and you want to add more to that? No thanks. I agree with abortion as long as it’s done prior to 16 weeks. Anything after that is a no go. I personally would never get one... but aside from my twins I can’t have kids naturally anyway. So my chances of an “oopsie baby” is non existent. But there’s a lot of factors to weigh in. Failure of contraception, financial instability, domestic violence, drug and alcohol abuse, not compatible with life medical situations, rape etc. it’s not all black and white. Some do abuse the system and use it as contraception... but there are others who don’t make the choice easily but it is what’s best for both parties at the time.

At that stage it is not a life. It’s a potential for life. That needs the mothers body to gestate to an age where it no longer needs to feed off it and survive outside the body.

Kids are fuckin hard work. They take a lot of time and as a single mother who fled a domestically violent situation where my sons father isn’t in the picture at all I struggled... I struggled for the first 2.5 years of their life. Trying to protect them from him even though they were wanted by the both of us. They were planned... and he turned into a psycho. I still wouldn’t have gotten them aborted at any stage but like I said... it’s not all black and white there’s a lot of grey areas in carrying a child full term and then raising said child or even putting it up for adoption.

I agree with you on everything, and i dont want you to get into personal details. I really appreciate you putting value in life and not giving up on them, i hope they're healthy and well. But like I said, killing is not the solution. Just because there's a chance of them not having the happiest lives and maybe even truly miserable lives, that doesnt mean we eliminate all other chances and just kill them off because "oh well, it wont go well anyway".Im sorry to hear about your situation, and I do sort of agree with the rape thing, although you should know that rape pregnancies are the rarest of the rare. 1% to roughly 5% of pregnancies are a result of rape, and while yes, these numbers DO exist, they are extreme cases. I dont believe in establishing a genetal rule based off of marginal cases. So if you agree with abortion regardless of the situation, there's no point in bringing up marginal cases. Also, with the rape thing, rapists should be castrated or killed, the baby shouldnt be the one killed. The adoption thing i unpacked already in the first response about it that I wrote. And then again here. Also, you say 16 weeks. You can look at a pregnancy development chart and if you point out to me where exactly its okay to kill the baby because "its not alive" and "its not a human" then ill listen. Im pretty sure you agree with me that people just suck it up and take responsibility for their actions.
