If you're having a bad day and you're lashing out at other people because of it, you're just an asshole. Everybody can have a bad day, but that doesn't give you the right to treat others badly.
No, people are most certainly not allowed to lash out once in a while. I have a zero tolerance policy for that. If you lash out at me for no reason, don't expect me to give any fucks about your problems anymore. I am a very kind and helpful person, but I will not tolerate people lashing out at me, I am not a doormat.
I also don't lash out at people for no reason because I am not an asshole. If I am having a really bad day or I'm angry about something, I'll curse at my computer or just mumble curses no one can hear to release my stress or if it's really extreme I'll punch or scream into a pillow but I will never lash out at another person because of my problems.
Also: Instantly assuming that someone else is a creep or something just because he asked you a simple question doesn't paint you in the brightest light either.
Edit: I additionally want to say, that she is only totally fine, as you said, because she knows that he has something she wants. If he didn't tell her, that he had her wallet, she would've continued to be a bitch.
