Depends on the sentence I would think, teacher has sex with student and actually goes to prison. Then that is PPD as in the past community service and a slap on the wrist is the usual sentence.

I agree with /u/tekeem. The act of them getting the same/similar sentence to a male for committing the same crime is the definition of a PPD.

If you want some examples to measure against, just goto /r/PussyPass and you can see women getting NO punishments for things like Sexual Assault of men who are passed out drunk, Stabbing a man in the eye with the stem of a broken wine glass, and even Attempted murder of their boyfriend.

It's all about equality. My real issue with people posting so many "arrests" as if that is some kind of denial, because it's not even close. When you do the follow up on most of those cases months later, you find a post about them in /r/Pussypass due to the courts doing either next to nothing or nothing at all to punish them.

If you invert the genders on the same felonies, charges would be much more severe (and we've seen this countless times). When a woman gets the same jail time as a man for the same crime, that's a PPD to me and I'm happy about it

Women systematically receive less penalties than men. Simply receiving the same penalties as a man is a victory. The unfortunate thing is we shouldn’t NEED to celebrate. They should just receive the same outcome as a man and we all move on.

Women typically don’t get jailed for as long as men for committing similar crimes; the two examples you used actually arguably can be PPD.
