Question / Situation

Over the last few years I've really seen my self transformed by the gospel and really come to appreciate just how powerful God's word is and just how important it is for our faith to produce fruit.

I've become somewhat frustrated with 'lukewarm christians' who don't find it all that important to read the bible and that don't necessarily see the bible as the absolute highest level of authority for teaching and shaping us.

2 questions.

  1. How do you gently (and without ego / arrogance) bring people back to how the bible says to live. Particulary when if you don't read the bible, you don't realise just how important it is. (passages like 2 Tim 3:16-17 or Mark 4:24-25)
  2. Have you actually seen any change in people from mentorship or does big change only come from them actively seeking the spirits help to be renewed and pursuing growth themselves?
