This does not relate to a relationship issue I'm having, I'm just curious how "blue pill" my thinking still is in this area.

Where is the line is between "flexing" for vanity's sake and recognizing the fact that Miss Universe 2017 didn't marry Tim Tebow just because he's a good-looking athlete?

Specifically:

  • If a well-off guy is 5/10 looksmaxxed and needs to bridge that divide to win an 8/10, how much is too much? (e.g., hinting that you'd pay off her student loans, shopping trips, etc)
  • Is it even wrong to enter into a relationship with a Christian woman that is largely premised around what you can provide for her materially?
  • Is a wealthy Christian man supposed to disguise his true level of wealth until post-engagement via frugal living?
