If a woman k owns you are totally into them it is a turn off for them most of the time, only exception is if it is a super high status male etc.

When women know a man is clearly chasing them it communicates at a biological level that the woman is the prize and has higher status than the man chasing her.

The goal is for the man to create interest in him from the woman without making her seem like the prize etc. he has to make himself the prize.

Example: you walk past your wife and grab her butt without saying anything and then continue going about your day

The idea is that (at least in her mind) you grabbed her butt simply because you saw her nice butt and wanted to grab it, not because you're horny and want sex so you're trying that "kino" thing you read about on the internet that sometimes works.

The idea is NOT that you can't show you are attracted to her (or any woman in general). I like the way Mark Manson put it: the typical woman is much more attracted to a man who is less invested in her than she is in him. You can show a woman you are attracted to her without signaling that you *need* her.

In the context of Marriage, especially for Christians, there is no trick. Genuine desire comes for that which is truly attractive, which is a man who has his life in order, has options, and orients himself to a larger purpose or adventure than himself or being attractive to any woman, especially her.

The keeping her ignorant part is just highlighting that it is unattractive when she can see you are being a dancing monkey. It is also highlighting that women like to figure their men out with their feminine genius, and for him to be a bit mysterious, so it's unattractive for a man to act like a woman and blather on and on all his inmost thoughts and insecurities.
