My mom - she did the best she could for us, and as a mom I come to appreciate how difficult some things are, and my situation is so much easier than hers was. I think I disagree with a lot of her choices, but can totally see how she thought it was the best at the time.
My husbands for his strength and making me feel safe. I literally sleep sounder knowing he's there next to me :)
The police and army, because they do such a lot to keep us safe, and in times like these I really appreciate the importance of that. I baked to take my mind off hubs being in a big city near a christmas market this morning :(

The weather! It's a little cold but we have sunshine and blue skies. I'm sitting in a sunbeam writing this while the kids race around playing happily.
My husband's sensible side. In many ways he's a daydreamer who prides himself on thinking outside the box -- I love that about him. But when it comes to our kids and our home, he is always calm and sensible and sets me straight when I have a misguided worry.
My boss. I work part time, and mainly from home. Lately the work has been really engaging and I feel a lot of respect from my boss. I feel lucky to have her.

I dont have a significant other. 1) God, how good he is and how incredible he treats me. Always my mancrushwednesday 2) My job, just started my career and I have a part time job in my field. 3) My family, They are such a blessing. My dad is such a hero and he works so hard to provide for his family. My mom is incredible and so loyal to us. My sister is my bestfriend

I'm thankful that my husband is such a good provider and that I'm able to be a SAHM with our children as it was always my dream from a small child.
I'm grateful for large loving family that surrounds and supports my children as they grow and takes interest in them. It takes a village.
I'm grateful that I have a close relationship with my mom and that we can shop, craft and hang out during the day as SAHM's together and for my Dad that will watch my littlest during the day so us ladies can go for lunches just the two of us.

I’m grateful for the leadership at my job. I recently went to our head honcho to discuss some problems I’ve been having, and I can see already that it’s being addressed in a constructive way. I was afraid to ask for help, and now I’m so thankful that I did!
I’m grateful for my SO’s courage. He’s taking on a lot of new challenges at work (and kicking butt, I might add). I’m so proud of him. I’m also facing some issues in my personal life at the moment, and I’ve been feeling very scared and betrayed, and my man is stepping up in an incredible way. He’s making me feel like I don’t have to be the brave one right now, because he’s protecting me and coming up with smart, rational ways to manage the situation. Hat tip to RPW for teaching me to bring your captain your problem and to embrace the vulnerability of sharing your fears.
I’m grateful for new girlfriends! Focusing on my female friendships has brought me so much joy. My fitness community has a lot of dudes, and they’re great guys, but they don’t bring the same richness to my life as my ride-or-die ladies do.

1.) SHORT WEEK THIS WEEK AND NEXT WEEK AND THE WEEK AFTER THAT! Very excited to have some extra days off. I'm planning to go ice skating by myself and bring my best friend a Christmas gift in the hospital. I'm trying to pull some strings at the hospital to see if her boyfriend can bring their dog to visit her, keep your fingers crossed!

2.) Today it was a little warmer! It was 20F when I left the house, it felt like springtime. I couldn't even bring myself to wear a coat, hahaha. It's supposed to be just around freezing on Friday, so I'm thinking of swinging by the outdoor rink by our house to skate for a little bit.

3.) Of course, my SO. He informed me this morning that Mint said we have a positive cash flow of almost $2k thanks to being extra frugal this past month. I'm really glad that I've trusted him and stuck with it, if we keep this up we are going to have a fantastic down payment for a new house eventually!

Edit: Update to #1 - my best friend is being released from the hospital! So, I'm extra grateful for that and that I get to give her a gift at her home. :D

I am grateful for my parents who have been a wonderful guiding presence in my life and have always showed compassion and love. They're my relationship role models! And I'm really thankful that they were able to watch our yorkie while we went on vacation.
I'm grateful for the patience of my SO. He is a very skilled downhill skier and helped me out a lot on my technique while we were visiting Whistler last week. On the runs were I was struggling, he never bailed and kept encouraging me to try my best. He could have gone and done his own thing, but still stuck with me.
I'm grateful for all of the people who gave me advice in my post about work a few weeks ago. It was starting to escalate into a really bad situation, and with the help of everyone's advice I was able to get some courage and say enough is enough.

My Mother. She sacrificed so much for her marriage and me. I am so glad she gets to enjoy all she worked so hard for now.
Our whole family is alright. My Aunt was at the christmas market in Berlin two hours before the monster attacked. We went to the remembrance ceremony in Berlin yesterday. It was so beautiful. Then my SO attended some protests against the current madness. (He did not want to risk me getting hurt by either crowd or police)
SO seems to love my Coffee Cookies.

I'm grateful for my husband's relaxed attitude during the Holidays. We see many people stressing out because of all the parties, traveling and other things, yet my husband prefers to take it slow and really appreciate the moment. For instance, he wants us to spend the 24th only the two of us, at home, in comfy pyjamas, with fondue and wine. What's not to love?
I'm grateful that this year's Christmas will be full of snow! Last year it was 15°C/59°F on Christmas day... It didn't really feel Christmas-y...
I'm grateful for having neighbours who appreciate the finer things in life (namely, my cupcakes).
