I saw a post not long ago where a woman was asking how to be more “dependent” on her man and less clingy. I can’t find it.

In a nutshell, many women are raised to weather storms on their own and be independent because life happens. Divorces happen and unfortunately death happens. So women are often left to raise children alone.

But here’s the thing about dependence, a man needs to earn it. More importantly he needs to earn her trust. When it’s broken, don’t bother. She will take it from there. But when trust is in tact, she can give herself to you and lean on you.

Good fathers raise their daughters to be good mothers and wives, but they also raise them to be no fool.
