You will notice this post has been locked. We, as a mod team, feel that you have not spent the time implementing the RPW knowledge that you have gained from other posts and hopefully, the wiki/sidebar.

From your past posts, you have been unable to stick with anything for longer than a few weeks to a month. The fact that you are back to being a Muslim convert now just speaks to this. We are teetering on "beyond the scope of RPW" territory. You truly seem to need in person help and something beyond what we can give through an online message board.

It seemed with your field report that you were turning a page but this post indicates, to us, a leap backwards.

On future posts, we will be adding links to your RPW post history so that people giving advice can get a full picture of your life. We will also not be moderating for "leave him" advice because your situation is atypical for RPW advice seekers.

Finally, we are here to give advice to people who want it. That to some degree, means that you have to be willing to take the advice offered. Because you have not implemented any advice for longer than a few weeks, you are obviously not "taking the advice offered" BUT you are continuing to ask for new and different advice. The patience that the community and the mod team will have for this sort of behavior will run out eventually and you will be asked to leave the sub. We are not at that point yet but this is your final warning on the topic.

We wish you well, truly, but your behaviors are not someone who is helping herself towards her goals. If you can't help yourself then we can't help you either.

Full text: Hi I told my friends about this and they told me I should leave him so I thought I would get a second opinion.

My boyfriend and I want a traditional relationship where I submit to him and as such he was talking about punishments if I don’t comply. (Eg if I don’t spend my money on what he wants me to, he punishes me)

He apologized when I pointed this out but I still worry about him being too controlling. We’re both Muslim and he’s pressuring me to wear the niqab. I want to wear the niqab but I’m worried about the pressure.

I really don’t want to break up with him because he’s the only guy who will wait for marriage with me who’s also a progressive Muslim white convert.

I’m not sure what to do. Thoughts?
