Hello☺

I am confused. I want to stay surrendered but I still feel the need to steer the ship sometimes.

I went on a double date last week with my best friend, her husband, and her husband's best friend (we'll call him Jeremy) and I had a great time. I've known Jeremy for a few years and he's always expressed interest in me but I was never in the right place to date. I'm so glad to have discovered this group because it's been helping to steer me in the right direction and it has cemented my beliefs that happiness comes from this way of living (at least for me) and there is no shame in it.

Anyway, we had a great time last week and Jeremy has asked me on a second date. But he won't stop texting me. I respond consistently back to him because I'm not sure how to slow down the rate of texting, so I take full responsibility for being a part of my problem. He has also made a couple of sexual innuendos and I'm not sure how to respond to those either, my response to his last innuendo was this: 🙈.

Please help me....I have so much to learn.
