This is going to sound nothing like rocket science, but I have been doing something that has boosted my confidence immensely!

A little background I’m 27F, married, 4 kids, SAHM

I was raised in a very passive man (then my step dad left), female-power home, went to college, became a Christian. My pre-college self was very loud, attention seeking, offensive, just gross when I think of it. After college I got married and pendulum swung way too hard and was way too quiet, lacked confidence, didn’t know how to balance my personality and confidence with being feminine and kind, and just lost MYSELF in the name of being softer and more palatable.

Anyway, I’m mostly balanced out now, and one thing I do it practice closing phone conversations. I know, it sounds so random. But you know that awkward part at the end where you both stumble over “yeah, mhm, bye, you too, bye, haha bye”? I just nip that in the bud now, beating the person to it and close it right up with “thank you, have a nice day, BYE.”

It’s so trivial but the small things add up. It makes me feel so confident!

What are some small excises in confidence you’ve used if you’ve struggled with balancing confidence with femininity?
