Hello everyone! I have been reading RPW and have just signed up because I would like advice on this. I met him three months ago through mutual friends. We are both 25. We started dating more officially two months ago. Last week he introduced me as his girlfriend to his friends which was nice.

We have not had sex because he is taking strong medicine that affects his sex drive that ends soon, but I do stay the night and we cuddle and talk for hours and are affectionate. I see him twice a week.

I am wondering what you think about initiating texts. Do I follow his lead or is it ok to text him when I feel like it? If left up to him, we would text every other day. He is always online though chatting to his friends. I don't text that much but I like to chat with my best friend, dad, and him.

So I usually initiate the texts most days, and they are usually quite flirty and light just to put him in a good mood as he has been stressed lately. For example yesterday I asked if he arrived alright to the meeting he had as he said he always forgets things and he said yes. Then I said 'good luck on your interview, you'll do great :) xx' and he sent some very nice messages back and we flirted a bit, then he said thank you for the messages because they always make him feel good, and can't wait to see me next week when he's back.

But then today I have not texted him and neither has he. I haven't texted because I don't want to initiate too much (I would say it's 60% initiated by me). He doesn't ask what im up to on the weekend or anything like that. I am fine with it but I love hearing from him, and thought that couples would like to text each other especially in the early stages.

So my question is should I stop initiating so much and let him lead (maybe they annoy him?) , or text as I am now and just accept the fact that he does not text every day. Thank you.
