I’ve been going on a lot of first dates. I met a guy who is the first guy I feel a connection with after 15 first dates. We get along really well and have a lot in common. He always seemed interested in meeting up with me. He’s a more traditional guy but doesn’t directly say that. After our last met up, I got a reality check that I’m not being feminine enough generally. I didn’t wear enough make up. No dresses. Not flirty enough. The last time we hung out, we had a great time. But I wasn’t looking girly enough. Right now it’s day 3 of no response to my last message. We meet in early Feb and the communication had only increased recently over the few weeks. I could blame one other time he took so long to respond on a work trip, but I’m getting the vibe now he’s politely rejecting. I know he works 60+ hours but the low texting and no build up in a relationship is a huge sign he’s not that into me. I want to be confused because we have a great time together, but clearly there is something that I didn’t hit for him. Now that I’ve decided to be more glam and girly, I’m sitting here hoping he’ll reach out. I need to move on from this guy but every other guy I chat with it’s the same thing; I don’t have the smooth conversation and lots of laughs like I had with him. In our first messages, it was an instant vibe! I want to hope he will reach out but even if he does, it’s a problem he makes me wait and isn’t building up on communication. Help!!!
