I (25F) recently got out of a long relationship where I thought everything aligned and we would get married and have children … that ended abruptly and i refuse to waste any more time being single/not looking to fulfill my goal. So I atched with this (M27) on Hinge and started chatting a bit on the app. I was feeling spontaneous on the last days of the year and I invited him to join for drinks, I had two friends in the bar but he joined and we chatted for hours. I enjoyed his company but I remember being quite intoxicated. I texted after to thank him and apologize for having friends over to which he said “Haha don’t worry. I enjoyed your company very much. I hope we can meet up again soon😊” I told him I felt the same and we should do that in 2023. Came NYE And he texted me a very generic happy new years message and I responded and since then radio silence

He was a gentleman during this very unconventional first date, we talked about values and he didn’t try to be physical with me. Paid for the bill and didn’t make it weird. Should I text him to ask for a date or should I let him initiate ?
