Hello everyone! I have a question about attraction: How long is a reasonable amount of time to wait for attraction (physical/romantic) to develop?

I am definitely someone who is rarely romantically/sexually attracted to people until I get to know them on a romantic basis (ie. flirting, spending time one on one, going on dates, etc.). An ex boyfriend who I didn't think was all that attractive when we first met became the most attractive man on earth to me after I begin to fall for him, so I know it's possible.

I have a coworker of about the same age (I work at a restaurant as a waitress) who has made it clear that he is interested in pursuing me. We have gone on one date, where I did have a really fun time, but didn't feel any real compulsion to kiss him. While he definitely isn't my physical "type," he does have a decent mix of alpha and beta traits. My family also met him a few times at work, and when he came to pick me up for the date, and they think he's perfect for me. I feel as though everyone else can see how amazing he is for me, but I just can't see it myself.

How many dates do you think is fair to wait for attraction to develop before I cut my losses and move on? He really is a great guy and would make a sweet and caring boyfriend, but I don't know if I could pursue a relationship with someone whom I felt "eh" about kissing.
