Give him another chance. If it happens again, you'll know you're not a priority, but moving is stressful. He could easily be a great guy who messed up.

If he is interested he will reach out over the next few days once he is settled or he will communicate to you that he will need more time to organize himself and then make concrete plans for a particular day or advise you when you should expect to hear from him. Give him a chance to reach out again but keep your options opened. I will say that the voice note was a nice gesture. More personal than just a text.

I think the fact that he was writing with you for weeks gives him a little bit of goodwill here as writing isn’t really a goal or particularly entertaining for guys. You could write back something like “well that’s unfortunate, I was looking forward to finally meeting you”

he’s the one who canceled, he’s the one who should come up with a new date. I hope it works out for you!

He was moving all day! That’s a great reason to space off plans. Sure, he could have scheduled better, but that seems like a very normal human mistake to make. Moving is exhausting! And sometimes you have to move on a certain day, perhaps he had to get out of the old place sooner than expected. The fact that he apologized in a voice message seems like a sign he genuinely feels bad. Give him another shot!

Did he ask to reschedule the date in his voicemail? If not, he either has no common curtesy or is not interested. If he’d be interested, he’d suggest a new date and time as he’s the one messed up.
