To be reliant on anyone is a bad situation. You simply add another master to your life, regardless of who it is. To have some masters may be a requirement for life, but I do not like being beholden to anyone for financial support, parent/spouse/whoever.

Contrary to the default redpill-overdosed answer it can be quite okay to live with a GF who earns more. You have to be alpha in other ways and not let others undermine your confidence with bullshit like "she will leave you because she earns more". Worrying about what-ifs is what betas would do - you should just enjoy the relationship and let her do the worrying. In fact visibly not giving a fuck about your financial status might be one of your best weapons.

In other words: relax, apply a devil-may-care mindset, amp up the cocky&funny and you'll be fine.

PS. There's a common word for this relaxed, laid-back type of game but it eludes me atm. Fuck. I'm getting old :)

I have an alpha friend who lives with his girlfriend, her mother and her sister and he used to pay a very small amount of amount towards the upkeep there, but since he quit his job he just does the washing up (bare in mind they've had this setup for about a month and a half now.) Now admittedly he's a very charming guy and she's very feminine/naive/innocent/young, I think she's aged around 18-20, she hates clubbing/partying and all that noise, she's a very "traditional" girl (believes in family/kids/taking care of her man), major caveat here is despite being born in the UK, her family are from an asian country and her mum instills a lot of traditions around the house, her mother not being born in the UK means shes also not a feminist. Essentially, the girl my buddys with is a unicorn.

Really, it depends on the girl. If it's a western self entitled chick like 9.9 out of 10 girls you can forget it, if you think you've got yourself a unicorn and you've got some swag/charm, she's not rode the carousel and you can mould the girl in to the woman you want her to be like my buddy is doing, then it's possible.

Heck, just because it's possible it's never ideal, he's not entirely comfortable with the situation, but he can pull it off because he's strongly masculine and she's strongly feminine, he's probably the most alpha guy she's ever had at her young age and he got there before she had a chance to get pulled into the carousel, so deduce from your own knowledge and by probing your gf (no innuendo intended), are you the most alpha guy she's ever had? If not, you fail versus an ex she had and thus you're not valuable enough to keep because you're not even the "best she ever had."

If I had to generalise I would say that this shit isn't gonna work, most women want nothing to do with a guy who isn't making money, especially western girls, major turnoff for them because they're materialistic and see it as a manly responsibility to bring home the bacon, regardless of the fact we're in a huge economic depression, real life shit like economic factors have never been known to get in the way of female demands and expectations, even more so in a feminist english/european country.

Fuck, I can't imagine myself being poor or dependent on someone other than my parents (a.k.a. the only people who give a fuck about you whether it benefits them or not). Shitting a brick every time I buy something I actually need seems like a horror scenario to me, so does being at the mercy of someone considering me to be expendable to any extent.

That said, the second option seems more stable and dignified.
