Today was a bad day. Traveling for work and got caught into the delays and missed connections roulette.

I finally get to destination and I have wasted half of a business day, crappy mood, hungry since I would not settle for airport or airline food (I am eating clean and high protein, almost paleo diet).

I had all the excuses to skip my workout:

  • Later than usual

  • I am hungry

  • I don't have all my supplies for my post-workout shake

  • I am tired

  • I don't feel like it

  • I can recoup tomorrow

  • It's only one day

Instead I went for it, it was hard but I endured through it and I had a very good workout. Afterward I went to the local grocery store got some greek yogurt and milk and fruits, went back to the hotel where I had my protein powder and put together a shake of some sort with the proper macros for me.

And I realized that regular workout is the anchor of TRP man, no matter what happens I need to do what I need to do, not because I am needy, but because I want it: I want to workout, I want to improve my body and maintain my health, and the excuses are for Betas.

Do that with your workout and it will permeate to all the other parts of your life, activities that you want to do.

Go Lift bro!
