Here's a quick summary on my day game approach. You may have something else, but this has generally worked pretty well for me. Feel free to use and adapt to you own situation. The nice thing about day game is that it's an untapped market. Most men go to bars and clubs to hit on women, where an otherwise HB5-6 suddenly feels like a HB9-10. It's a difficult environment, so this is where day game comes handy.
Day game Constraints:
- Women are busy during the day.
- You should be busy during the day.
- You can't be as wild or outrageous as you can be in a bar/club environment.
Step 1: Approach
Approach a chick and compliment her on something more unique than a superficial quality. Telling her you think she's cute, beautiful, gorgeous, etc. is something she's heard many times and has lost steam in her mind- all it demonstrates to her is she's good enough for a fuck. Instead, compliment something she's wearing, or the way she walks, or the way she carries herself, etc. If you state something that is uniquely tailored to her, it will come off as genuine; if you try to reuse a canned line, eventually you become so efficient at it, that it ends of sounding recycled (she'll know, trust me).
Examples:
- "Hey, I had to come over to say you have a really elegant walk - are you a model?"
- "Excuse me, I have to say you have really nice flowing hair - what kind of shampoo do you use?"
- "Hi, I really like your boots - you have a really interesting sense of style."
At this point she can't help but smile (unless she's a cunt). Then proceed to introduce yourself and get her name.
Step 2: Acknowledge the Circumstances
You can't just talk and assume she's down to talk. In fact, it's straight up rude because she's probably busy or on her way somewhere, so you need to acknowledge that. The moment you indicate to her that you understand this, you start breaking the ice with her.
- I have to get going..."
- I know you're busy..."
- Real quick..."
- I have a couple minutes before I get back to work..." Now she knows the interaction is going to end soon, so she's more receptive to chat with you.
Step 3: Get her to Qualify Herself to You
The next step is to get her to talk about herself. You want to get to know who she is, and this is a form of getting her to qualify herself to you. This is also considered the "push" aspect that connects to the "pull" of step 1 where you complimented her. Ask her what's interesting about her, what she likes to do, what she's passionate about, etc. Throughout this conversation, you will reply to her statements, with a statement and then move on to the next question...don't just move onto the next question right away. This shows that you can actually hold a conversation. The other aspect to this is that you are getting her to talk about a positive topic, which forces her to associate a positive feeling with you.
Examples:
- She likes to travel: "I've been there, it was a lot of fun..." "What do you like to do when you're there?"
- She dances: "It must take a lot of good flexibility and coordination"..."What got you into it?"
- She teaches: "I bet it's rewarding when you see someone grow through learning"..."How does it make you feel when your students understand what you're teaching?"
Step 4: Close
Finally, when you sense the conversation has reached a climax (usually 5-10 minutes in when she's smiling and throwing IOIs at you), you need to close. You can either get her number or even better, start a date instantly; however, do not linger.
Examples:
- "Listen, I have to get going. It was nice chatting with you. Why don't you give me your #?"
- "I'm going to grab coffee. I wanna know more about (x topic). Come join me."
- "I know you have to run. What's your #?"
And that's it. It's not terribly complicated, but if you have these four basic steps in mind form start to finish, you will be gathering #s like there's no tomorrow. If a chick isn't receptive, at least it's not awkward - you can leave the conversation gracefully and you don't end up wasting a lot of your time and her time. Also, the approach is genuine. Even if you get rejected, you leave with more experience and practice and she leaves with feeling happy. A win-win in my opinion.
