TLDR: Nuclear dread game with plate over a miss communication leads to freak fest.

So, I have a plate, Ash. Ash and I have been on and off for a while and I like to keep her around as she's fun, a super freak and not too bitchy. We set some ground rules to our relationship this fall which included me going for whatever I wanted, but if she wanted to keep me around I was her only guy she was fucking. They will share, but that's not what this report is about.

Anyway I can be a bit introverted at times and was feeling like I needed a week or so of being chill by myself as I had been really putting myself out there socially lately. So, she's hitting me up to chill, I explain I need some me time and that I'd get back to her. She really didn't get it at first and was worried I'd be ditching her after explaining I just was a bit worn thin and needed some time she seemed to be ok and was willing to wait.

I love playing music and its a side project to my unfortunate reality of still needing a day job. A week or so goes by and she hits me up saying she heard some of the new jams my band had uploaded to Soundcloud. While she's texting me I'm in an Emergency Department doing some work where I just had the misfortune of watching someone code out and pass. Right after this happened my phone goes off to a text "haha the guy I'm talking to is in a band, man I'm turned on." I was not in the best mood and took the text as her trying to make me jealous, and I don't play those games.

A few hours go by as there's no way in hell I'm responding to her and she asks if we're still going to go see some show this weekend. No. She asks why so I tell her we're done and why and to not worry about me. She immediately calls with a "wtf" and I realize my error before she even has to explain herself.

We hash it out for a bit, I admit my mistake and tell her we're cool. She still is so upset she leaves work to meet me at my house and show me how wrong I was and how "fun" she is to be kept around. Apparently I'm also in for a surprise this weekend. Good girl, good girl.

Moral of the story: don't ever be afraid to draw a line. Don't be afraid of letting the women in your life just how easily you can walk away if they behave in a manner you do not accept. Don't put the pussy on a pedestal.

Now have fun picking apart my bereft brevity of a story and tell me where I fucked up.
