Would it be okay for someone to claim that all black people are criminals?
There would (justifiably) be an enormous uproar.
But slander men the same way, and legions of feminazi's take it as wisdom.

If you got bitten by an unknown species of snake would you go to the "snake expert" to have it checked out?
There would (justifiably) be a huge uproar in the snake community when you assume all snakes are venomous.
Nature doesn't care if it pisses some people off, you act to survive in situations like that. Nature, our instincts, aren't politically correct.

Your logic is fallacious.
You're conflating the treatment of two separate animals, the species specific traits of which are well known and documented, according to those animal's well documented behavioral tendencies to illustrate why it's appropriate to NOT treat a third animal, whose behaviors is also well know and documented, according to said well documented behavioral tendencies of that third species.
You're using these animals because, to a high degree of probability, their conduct can be predicted. You're then using that as a basis to argue why it's acceptable to prepare against a course of action which the probability of occurring is extremely improbable "99.9% of all men are not rapists." It doesn't make sense.
Additionally, you're conflating species with gender, which is interesting. When exhibiting money's tendencies to be harmless, you didn't distinguish between male and female monkeys. Likewise with the jaguar's tendencies for predation. But, you distinguish between men and women when discussing humans. By your guideline references, women should be as dangerous to men as men are to women as the traits must necessarily be a species trait and not a gender trait.
You're also trying to sneak in an argument for preparing for the unknown, such as not knowing what's in the bush. But, your example doesn't address that either. In your example, the woman knows it's a man she's looking at.
What you're trying to infer is that what she doesn't know is the nature of the man, but you've clearly shown that isn't true either. You've already said 99.9% of men aren't rapists and established an example where in we ought to treat others according to their known behavioral tendencies (monkeys as harmless, because they are, and jaguars as dangerous also because they are). So, by your own logic, she should be confident the man poses no danger to her at all.
What she's doing is projecting upon another a fear and a prejudice which is not based on anything other than a complete disregard for the known facts and sexist belief that all men are in fact contrary to that which they are (i.e., although only a fraction of a percent of men rape, all men are potential rapists.)
You make a good argument and I admit my logic is flawed. Thanks!

Giving into fear in what is a safe place 99.999% of the time is a pathetic way to live your life. If you don't take risks, you'll be bored, afraid, and unhappy. If a woman thinks that being on the same side of the street as a man is a risk, then she is boring, afraid, and not worth interacting with.
