One thing I've noticed among my circle, is that everybody talks shit to everyone, but the more you approach the apex of our social pyramid, the less you get tested.

Newcomers, recovering betas and hangers-on get tested on hardcore mode, but if you either prove your bona fides or shape up, the deluge abates, and the most alpha of my friends (pussy slayer, rocketing career, rock-solid inner game) rarely gets any shit from anyone anymore (well, except when he slips up).

In a way, it's a good metric of your progress if you do have alpha friends.

Anyone else noticed this?

I had my best friend introduce me to TRP and we live it everyday. Anytime I start feeling soft or acting beta, he's right there to talk shit and get me back into frame. Just like any other changes you are making in your life, it's a lot easier when you have friends that are doing it with you and support you.

This is a problem for me. I just don't think of witty things to say in a quick-fire situation. I can tell funny stories that I've thought about beforehand, I can engage in friendly banter, but if it turns into straight shit-talking I feel like there's a pressure on me to escalate the wit and humour and do it fast and hard. If it fails then you're fucked, you've lost respect and you look a fool, so I generally avoid conversations like this and change the subject.

I don't know how to fix this. I feel like being witty is something you either have or you don't, but I may well be wrong in this.

This is where I'm lacking. I lost all my friends when my LTR broke up. She got major pussy-pass, especially as all those friends are wifed up. Of course, it came in drips and drabs, but she told them all I was abusive and manipulating. Cheeky bitch! I was never anything of the sort. I was a true beta.

At the moment, I'm busy with my own stuff, no real time for making new mates, but I do have a couple of new guys if I ever want to host a pizza and movie night. I wouldn't describe them as alpha, but good to shoot the shit with.

I dont think shit tests are the same from your buddies as from your females. I mean I rib on my dudes all the time but it isnt really a shit test. It's because I know they can take it, by the virtue that they are just normal guys. Usually it's just insults it's not really even a test and no one gets offended. A woman will test you to make sure you are worth the salt you spit or to try your manhood. It's an NSA style waterboarding she can and will go for the juggular it's not on some friendly shit.
