First off, I want to ask out a chick from work this weekend (I know, don't shit where you eat, blah blah blah. We're both temps and the likelihood of both of us being there in 2 months is minimal and I really don't care anyways).

Now that that's out of the way, a little background. I started working with this girl like 3 months ago and she' super quiet so I didn't know her at all until a few weeks ago. Now we're talking and flirting a bit and she's pretty cool so I want to give it a shot.

Here's what I need help with: I moved to a new city ~6 months ago and I still don't have any good friends. Since the move I've lived a pretty solitary life bordering monk mode but with some guilty pleasures. Basically, I'm a social loser with an interesting personality and slightly above average looks.

What I need is a fun "date" that will be enjoyable for us both and will not showcase the fact that I don't have (m)any friends. I know the two RP go-tos seem to be either invite a chick out with a group of people already doing stuff or meet at a shitty bar with the intention of wooing her with massive muscles and impeccable game then banging her within 10 minutes.

Since the first go-to isn't an option in my case, and I'm really not interested in trying the second here (my game needs serious polishing), I need ideas. My first is offering to teach her how to ski. I go every weekend and she has subtly asked me to teach her a couple times. My general rule is skiing > bitches but this weekend the skiing should be pretty shitty. It would also provide an easy avenue for kino/escalation.

I need advice on whether skiing is a good or bad idea. I would also like other suggestions that are appropriate given my situation.
