Disclaimer: I agree with a lot of the ideas here. I am disappointed that our species has not moved past simple sexual economics. We could be a better species, but we live in the House Human Instincts Built.

“Why does "an ideal woman" have to have as few sexual partners as possible?” Women don’t need to work to get sex, sure certain men may present a challenge because they’re out of her league but if she works within her level and goes out tonight and tells a guy that she wants him then 9/10 guys will go off with her there and then and fuck her. It takes no skill for a woman to get sex and therefore it does not merit any respect or admiration. Women are the gatekeepers to sex, men are quite crudely, generally up for it most of the time, specific men aside.

I agree with a lot of TRP. I have read a decent amount of the material and have been voraciously reading the posts here. I have had doubts about our sexual economy for probably my whole life.

One central idea I'm not sold on is marrying a chaste, virginal woman. 1 One who is going to be sexually boring and not sexually motivated past popping out a few brats who are bent on destroying the lives of their parents. 2

I am planning on not having children, so I don't think the stock-photo life-plan is a requirement.

I'm going to go and blame the House Human Instincts Built. It seems to me that the problems with promiscuous women are: * Fucking around behind your back when you fuck up and bore them in bed * Fucking around to get more valuable mates (branch swinging and hypergamy) * They are of lesser value because they don't have to put effort in to fucking the people they want to fuck

These reasons aren't enough for me to buy that sluts are intrinsically of lesser value. If you bore your woman enough that she cheats on you, it's your fault.

Men are guilty of both of these same things. People seem to think that branch swinging is bad when women do it to find the thing they want but it is fine when men do it to find what they want. 3

If you want to build a family with a woman, you don’t want her to be a slut because it means you’re investing all this love, time, energy and investment into her and she may squander that by betraying you to fuck another guy.

So, back to marrying chaste, virginal women. Marrying someone who is sexually boring is going to lead to your own branch swinging while you look for a younger model. From the female perspective, she's investing the loss of her physique to popping out your brats, and you're just going to "squander that by betraying [her] to fuck another [girl]." 4

This is classic behaviour. The husband who cheats while his wife after a pregnancy is meme-able at this point. It's a core story of the human condition.

Everyone writing these articles about the Hypergamous Woman can't be totally immune to cheating on his virginal wife.

I have trouble accepting arguments from people who are going to go against the rules they tell others to abide by. 5

1 - Just because a woman is chaste and virginal doesn't mean you can't mold her in the image of your sexual ideal, sure, but do you want to have to do all that work?

2 - I am middle-class North American, where our generation is getting shit on in the economy and we don't have the resources to properly raise children thanks to the requirement of families to have dual-incomes.

3 - I will admit that there isn't a lot of activity from men who have not been burned yet.

4 - I'm not saying that you, personally, are going to break the vows of the marriage that TRP'ers seem to hold so much value in, but that humans as a species will fuck around.

5 - Everyone is calling for women who never cheat, even though large percentages of men, including the ones making these arguments, are going to cheat in a long term relationship 6 (Haha. I need a footnote inside of a footnote)
