I though I had taken the red pill ages ago. I had a girl I was seeing fuck my best friend and that was it, things had changes. No more pandering to hamsters, no more chasing, no more morning text and saying I love you first. This was at 18 and I was in a bad way for a long time. Luckily this was during my first year of college.

I stopped approaching women, well, like they were women. I wasn't looking to fuck or fall in love. I took charge of my life, vowed celibacy and started hitting the gym. The my grades got better, my confidence increased tenfold. It was all for me and without noticing I'd become a lot more desirable. Something changed and dealing with women was easy, I wasn't stressed, I didn't brood over whatever bullshit came my way. It was a new world.

Side question. Why is it that women want a man to break a vow of celibacy for them but at the same time don't want the kind of man who can't keep that vow of celibacy for himself? Anyways.

Fast forward to a couple of years later, I run into an old friend. Someone I've had feelings for since we were kids. Suddenly, I'm slipping. Getting caught up in emotional bullshit, trying to explain myself and justify my actions. I'm texting good morning. Doing this for her that I don't do for anyone else. It's weird because, with every other female I'm stalwart in my changes. I am the person I am now and it never goes like this. She calls and I find myself backsliding like a motherfucker. RP what the hell is going on? Have you guys ever experienced this?
